Change Management...Or not as the case may be...
![]() |
Clouds gather...earth opens...rain prepares |
Change is coming, how to cope?
What? When? How? Why?...Oh dear...
Shock...this can never be good...
Mouth wide open...no words escape...
There must be a mistake...yes...
Wires crossed...total miscommunication...complete error
Change is harsh, how to cope?
Pain spiralling out of control now
Not a wound, not visibly no
But pain nevertheless oh yes its true
Was it really initiated from here?
Head hung, face long,big sigh...
Change isn't inevitable, how to evade?
Arrgghh...How can this be happening?????
No! This just will not do!
Can there not be middle ground?
There must be another way...no?
A pause...think...find....another way....
Change is here, how to cope?
Oh how does one get here?
Was it this? Or maybe that?
None else is here how strange?
This beast it devours the soul...
Cant cope...the end is nigh...
Change has come, just may cope...
It's here...Though not so destructive...
Put it on...It feels ok...
Just maybe despair was an overreaction
Well it is not all bad...
Something good may just come through....
Change is real, coping is possible...
Old has gone...new has come...
A new day is here now
Rising to the challenge is possible
Making a move now is positive
Self reinvention is on the menu
Change is normal, coping? no problem!
Skipping...hopping...dancing...laughing out loud!
Change is no longer the enemy
New lease of life its gift.
Best thing that happened to me!
Feel good...look good...am good!
Six words...
Six lines...
Six word Fridays

Autumn...my favourite season

The road less travelled... Autumn 2009 at the University of Reading, England. |
I took this picture in the wilderness patch behind the University of Reading, England and have aptly named it, 'The road less travelled' after the poem of the same name which I love, by Robert Frost.
I keep a copy on my wall to remind me that there is always a choice!
Life doesn't have to follow a predictable pattern, we can choose...
We can dare to be different!
We can reinvent ourselves whenever we want to, or when we hit a road block in life that wont let us move forward.
I have found myself at this very junction many times before and here I am again;
Do I stay or do I go?
Do I stay in line, in my place or do I dare to stick my head above the parapet?
Do I bow my head and get on with the expected or do I stand up and be counted?
Do I stay in the rat race of corporate carnage or do I seek a purer more meaningful path?
Do I hold my peace or do I let the world hear my voice?
Do I see the world as is prescribed or do I find my own way of seeing?
Do I conform to what this world says I should be or do I take 'the road less travelled, the unpredictable, the unthinkable...the unimaginable?
The former will lead to the ordinary 'everybody' safe choice that is the status quo, whilst the latter usher in new adventures; opportunities to do things I've always wanted to do and even more I have yet to imagine... make a real difference where it counts...
If I dare to dream...
If I dare to dream...

I am Blogger of Note (BON) over at WOW today!!!!!
Hi and welcome! I am Rue, the 'brain' and photographer behind Passion in the Moments, the blog behind E:thos Photographic. I am so incredibly honoured and just tickled pink to be featured as today's BON (Blogger of Note) over at Words of Wisdom (WOW)!
WOW is a place for all bloggers who enjoy reading and writing great content to find each other and share their work, ideas and experiences so If you are reading this as a fellow blogger, do get over to WOW and join us! by following the link here.
That said, welcome to anyone new to Passion in the Moments and a special welcome to fellow WOW members and BON's. I am thrilled to have you visit today and hope you will enjoy your time having a look around. Passion in the Moments is a creative and photo blog. Through words and images I share with you all the way I see the world and my experiences as I go through life, meet and interact with people, nature and the built environment.
The fun things you should try to see while youre here are; my new challenge, '30 things to do before I am 30' which is a list of things my friends put me up to doing before my 30th birthday next June which I have not tried before...I have done three so far so watch this space. The second thing is my weekly column called' Rue's Friday Fragments' which I post on a Friday with the top ten stories, jokes and news pieces I have heard in the week as well as a random picture with no other home and a music video to listen to as you enter or enjoy the weekend. This was started and is hosted by the lovely Mrs 4444 on her blog Half past Kissing Time where I link my fragments each week. The final thing is my other blog (which is not actually on this site) called 'The Art of Being Humane' which you can access here. This is a humanitarian project I have recently started and is definitely worth keeping an eye on as things develop. Find out why I started it here.
I really hope you enjoy spending some time in my world today and if you really love the images, stories and the humanitarian project then please do tell all your friends and family! The more the merrier! Also do leave as many comments as you like!!!!
Many thanks
rue
